STUDIO FABRICATOR
Demiurge is a large-scale art fabrication studio based in Denver, Colorado and is seeking a full-time fabricator to join our team. Candidates must demonstrate a teachable and willing-to-learn attitude and desire to learn new skills, as well as further develop skills brought to the position. Candidates should demonstrate interest in fine art, sculpture, architecture, design, fabrication, engineering, materials and research.
Pay Range, Benefits and Perks
Pay starting at $24-30 hour based on previous employment, experience and demonstration of skill.
Total compensation range including benefits listed below: $57,400 - $76,000
Work hours are 4 days a week from 7am to 6pm, Monday through Thursday. Additional hours, including weekends and overtime along with schedule flexibility and out of town traveling should be expected.

Requirements and Qualifications + Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to visualize and implement complex assemblages of parts.
High proficiency with standard fabrication equipment and tools.
Including but not limited to cutting, shearing, braking, forming, torch cutting, MIG, TIG, or Arc welding, mold making and casting, working with sheet metal tools, industrial presses, drill press, mill, bandsaws, basic woodworking tools
Knowledge of Measurements, Conversions, and Tolerances
Knowledge of Materials and Material Standards
Knowledge of shop safety procedures, OSHA/ANSI Standards
Truck/Trailer driving experience
Welding Experience
Experience in Digital Fabrication
Forklift experience
Ability to manage multiple complex tasks within a collaborative environment

While our product is large scale, high end works of art, this is a production shop and not what you might think a sculpture studio is in a more typical sense of an independent artists studio. Demiurge will train up anyone who demonstrates the ambition and skills to learn.

DEMIURGE COATINGS
A new division of Demiurge LLC providing premium coating services. Demiurge’s new in-house and onsite coatings division has multiple open positions for experienced Industrial Painters and Preppers. Demiurge Coatings prepares and applies coatings to high end large scale steel and sculpture projects at our Denver facility and in the field with our mobile equipment.

PAINTER Requirements and Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least five years experience with knowledge in the use of pressure pots, epoxies and catalyzed urethanes. Such as products like Cardinal, PPG, Sherwin Williams, and Tnemec. Experience with metallics is a plus.
No Exceptions: Valid Colorado Driver’s License and proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
Forklift experience is a plus.
Truck and trailer driving experience is a plus.
Must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation and relatively clean driving record. No exceptions.
PREPPER Requirements and Qualifications:
Candidates must have two years experience and knowledge in the use of air sanders, masking and prepping materials for paint. Sandblasting experience is a plus. Will train if needed.
