How much will it cost to produce my project?

Each project is unique. This first phase of every project is to compile as much information as possible in order to produce a realistic final price quote. In some cases projects require completing the production design and engineering design phases in order to develop feasibility and cost analysis. Demiurge can assist in all phases of your project.

 

What kind of materials do I need to have ready to get started?

We can start from as little as a sketch on a bar napkin to 100% production design/engineering documents. Demiurge can take on a project at any stage of development but would prefer to become part of the production team as early as possible in order to implement our proven methods of design and project management.

 

What kind of deposit is needed to begin working?

We compose pricing schedules to match development milestones depending the project scale and complexity. If a public art project, we work with the artist to make the pricing schedule match closely to the payout schedule of the commissioning agency.

 

How long does it take to complete a project?

This completely depends on the scale and complexity of the project. In general, give us a deadline and we’ll make it happen.

 

What kind of work can you produce?

Demiurge can produce just about anything in any material given the proper amount of time and budget. If we can’t produce it “in house,” we have the vendors who can. If we don’t have a specific vendor or are not familiar with a certain process, we research the technique and produce samples for approval prior to production.

How large or small can the work be?

Demiurge can work in any scale from gallery based editions to colossal scale exterior public art.

 

Do you ship and install works outside of your region?

Yes we do. We can produce “turnkey” production and installation of any project anywhere in the world.
